Kalyānamitta Dharma Collective

Purpose: We create accessible opportunities for practicing the dharma—teachings supporting liberation from suffering and the flourishing of all beings—in Aotearoa. We facilitate an annual long silent retreat and shorter beginner-focused offerings, all given freely in the tradition of dana, with no fee required. Long retreats are virtually inaccessible domestically; our dana model removes financial barriers entirely. We preserve & transmit the Buddha's teachings primarily (with openness to all traditions)
