Hemi Tapu Te Touwai Trust Board

Purpose: To nurture and support the spiritual and physical well-being of the Whangaroa communities/Te Rohe Potae O Whangaroa in the Far North. First through the restoration of the historic St James/Hemi Tapu church to a sound and weather-tight condition in four stages over four years. Prioritise and undertake works to deliver to the communities a safe and attractive venue where they can gather, celebrate, worship, mourn, reconcile, learn, be mentored, seek guidance, find sanctuary, reflect and be still.
