In the field of paediatric diabetes and endocrinology, the primary purposes of the Society are to: • advance education for healthcare professionals • promote excellence and equality in patient care • encourage and support high quality research • promote the development of the best standards of practice • facilitate the exchange of information between members • facilitate a national source of scientific and clinical expertise, reference and advocacy • collaborate with other reputable international, national and lay societies • hold an annual scientific meeting each year.
