Farming Women Tairawhiti Incorporated

Purpose: Our mission is to promote and support the physical and mental wellbeing, education, resilience and sustainable practice of farming women and women involved in rural industries throughout Tairāwhiti. We provide personal and professional development opportunities based on education. In organising focus days, courses and social events for members from Wairoa to the tip of the East Cape we support their growth and foster participation in community involvement to improve social and business networking within this large, isolated region. Our purpose: Promote, improve and safeguard the physical and mental health and welfare of farming women and women involved in rural industry. Promote and encourage sustainable practices. Carry out activities necessary to achieve those purposes.
