Registration number CC52351Sector: Social servicesRaetihi
Purpose: The Trust’s primary role is to support and empower Māori youth, their whānau, and other community members in Aotearoa, particularly in the Waimarino/Whanganui regions, by providing training and rehabilitation opportunities. We focus on those who have faced physical, emotional, social, and mental challenges, aiming to foster cultural, health, education, environmental, and economic revitalisation. Our initiatives aim to equip youth aged 12-24 in the Ruapehu, Whanganui, and Rangitikei regions with the skills, knowledge, and attitudes necessary to lead healthy, safe, and meaningful lives. Through recreational, educational, and therapeutic programmes, we foster self-responsibility, personal mastery, and social-emotional development, facilitating healing and overall well-being. We also strive to create opportunities for families and the broader community to build a deeper understanding of local youth, fostering positive connections and promoting skills in working collaboratively with young p
