Purpose: To advance education by providing training and development opportunities to improve management and leadership practices in business and organisations in New Zealand, through public and private educational programmes. To advance education by encouraging the provision of foundation management and leadership education and training to all sections of the population, including programmes that lead to employment opportunities. To benefit the community by providing a system where management and leadership competence and educational achievement can be publicly recognised. To advance education and benefit the community by promoting research on management issues, including standards development and benchmarking surveys. To advance education by establishing funds for scholarships to promote innovative practice and provide access to education and training opportunities for New Zealand leaders.
