Purpose: Christian Social Services Whanganui (CSSW) operating as City Mission Whanganui has the guiding principles to do together as members of the City Mission, that which we could not do alone and to be identifiably Christian. Christian Social Services Whanganui was founded in the early 1990’s. They identified a need among disadvantaged and low income people struggling to provide the necessities of life with very little or no reserves and unable to meet the difficulties that arise in their circumstances. There are many people encountering this situation today.
