Hakatere (Ashburton) Presbyterian Parish Charitable Trust

Purpose: 1. For the advancement and promotion of the Mission of St James in the Ashburton community. 2. For the acquisition of such equipment materials, chattels, plant, land and buildings as the Trustees may deem necessary or desirable for the furtherance of the Trust objects. 3. For the making of grants to the Mission of St James for the furtherance of its work in promoting the advancement of the Mission of St James in the Ashburton community. 4. To receive funds by way of donations and testamentary bequests for the promotion of the foregoing objects. 5. The Trustees shall by means of prudent investment and management of the Trust Fund ensure the continued accumulation of funds to enable the Trustees to fulfil the objects hereinbefore set forth and may carry on such activities as in their absolute and uncontrolled discretion they consider will advance the objects of this trust or provide funds for accumulation to the Trust Fund.
